Windows 8.1 Start Screen Blank
Sometimes when I try and switch user or log-off, the system just sits there and does nothing (most annoying). When I click the little arrow button at the bottom to go to all apps, there is nothing there. Went through Safe Mode again, scanned the whole system (McAfee) and found nothing. I should have mentioned it's 10.7 Lion. 10.7.2 specifically. 2010 Core i7 iMac. It's the way my iMac interacts with the OS X install. Scroll down and click on the System Tools folder. And the box to put the password doesn't even come up at all. Try unplugging them and plugging them back in.
Alternatively....... For safe computing, always download software from reputable sites.
