Memory Upgrade Question

If you read the sticky you would see multiple users saying corsair has problems with selling 1.5v memory and saying its 1.35v compatible not actually 1.35v and multiple people recommending gskill. If I recall correctly, my 1x factory memory card was in #3 which was the UPPER LAYER SOCKET. Both sockets should hold matching memory cards for optimal "dual channel" mode. I don't mean they will certanly not work, but there are chances that they won't. my review here

It's easier to use the two sockets in the easy to access bay on the underside of the laptop to add your own additional memory cards, but both of those are All Rights Reserved. Then reinstall the underside laptop cover, reinstall the battery, and you're done. If this is the case, and there are only two slots, looking at my choices from the Dell site, I don't see any way to total up to 16GB of memory
