The OS drive is about 125 gigs takes 45 minutes to image and about 20 minutes to restore to a new drive if needed. So, the system can read the drive no problem.
Other choices (I think Paragon is the best. I've read far too many reports from people who could not successfully restore their images ... if Macrium has SOLVED that problem, and if Windows does NOT crash when you use Macrium to clone the source Windows, into a larger destination space, then I will CERTAINLY make Attempting Trim Operation Macrium I have 4 partitions: System, C drive, HP recovery, and unnamed mystery partition (13GB).

Could I just use Macrium back My C Drive up on my E Drive? If this is an XP (or Vista) system on the SSD, periodic Secure Erase operations would be in order. But for simple one off images I find it works perfectly - especially as I separate OS from Software from Personal Data.
