It is an odd problem considering that if I even try to "enable" the Broadcom adapter, the system instantly freezes. Try updating/reinstalling the drivers and/or update OS. In the case, make sure you're running the latest version of the operating system. Try it out and let us know!!! Also, did you uninstall the Broadcom 802.11 Adapter before you reinstalled the chipset driver?
